I scanned my computer for malware with Avast! And it found a bunch of stuff which it deleted. After my computer restarted, I couldn't connect to the internet. When I looked at my Network Connections I found a "Limited or No Connectivity" status on my wireless connection (we use wireless at home). I tried doing the automatic repair of the connection but it fails on the "Renewing IP Address" part. Here's what it says under Connection Status on the wireless:

"Limited or no connectivity"
"You might not be able to access the Internet or some network resources. This problem occurred because the network did not assign network address to the computer."

Please help! thanks

Most likely, not everything.

I suggest that you start a new topic in the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal area.

Before you start a new topic click on this link --> Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic. This will give you a few preparations to make, as well as instruction for posting your OTListIt2 log.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
