Having had a bad malware incident recently I have decided to try Firefox. It seems to work fine for most sites but when trying certain other sites I get one of two error messages The both say the same other than one says the connection was interruped rather than reset. Error message below. The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. If I cut and paste the URL into IE then it works fine. This tends to happen with sites that require passwords etc, an example is: https://www.strengthsfinder.com/ Javascript is enabled, any ideas? Paul. |

are you sure all the malware is off of it???
Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE . That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread. |
