I'm not exactly sure what the legal status is concerning copying, but as far as I understand it, where I live (Australia) it IS LEGAL to make a backup copy of a DVD movie I already own. As long as you keep the original and the backup together, and if you lose the original you throw out the backup. Kinda sounds stupid, but that's the legality of it...
Anyway, you'll need to use a program to rip the movie off the dvd. I use DVD Shrink, google it, it's a free program. Once you have used this program to rip it then Nero will burn it to a DVD for you no problems. |
