I had a quick test on this and man talk about quick loads up faster than any other browser I have ever used, the GUI is simple yet nice and must admit I liked the effect when it opens and closes tabs

Its very easy to navigate round and you can find what you need in seconds in regards to settings

In my own opinions I think that everyone must at least have ago

I downloaded it today but I'm not sure that it would be the most secure browser in the internet world. Firefox is considered as the most secure so far. Any expert opinions?

This is not true. It is just much more secure than IE.

Has anybody else noticed yet that when you have a couple of tabs open in Chrome that your task manager will show multiple instances of it if the tabs are different sites, if you have multiple tabs open from the same site task manager will only have the original 2(?) instances of chrome.

Other than that I think it is great and like wizzy2k5 said it loads the pages super fast.

The multiple tasks is on purpose. The idea is that if you get to a website that crashes your browser, you don't lose the other websites, just that one task.

I didn't even think of it that way, it makes a lot of sense though.

There's a lot of information on what Google Chrome is about and why they're so excited about it. You should check out the Google Chrome comics. Very informative.

I did read in blogs and comments about users complaining about the privacy issues that Google Chrome brings in. Especially about their Omnibox feature where the browser makes suggestions for search keywords based on other people's searching behavior. They say it's invading their privacy. I'm not convinced that Google Chrome is invading privacy. But I'm open for more information regarding that issue.

The default google search bar in firefox already does this. I find it useful for spelling reasons....

I believe that they take searches that have been entered into their search engine, and use that to determine the popularity of the keywords. This doesn't tie you to those keywords. For example, if you type in Po, and "Porn" comes up, that means that a lot of people have searched for porn. That doesn't mean someone is being accused of searching for porn.

Are these people that just fear change, and think Firefox should not be challenged by a new browser, so they come up with wild accusations? This is a helpful feature, not a harmful one... C'mon... Think a little people...

Chrome is great. Using it right now. It has a cool little Incognito option, for those people that like to go to sites that they're not suppose to go to. It doesnt keep cookies or history...and its sooo much faster than IE when it comes to load time. The only thing i've seen that it doesnt do, is support adobe flashplayer, or i'm just doing something wrong. Realized it when i already have the plug-in on my PC, then went to the XBox site and it was telling me to download it.

When using any browser, I choose the options to not save cookies, and history. So my experience with browsers is always "incognito". Also, load times seem pretty much the same to me. I guess that is one problem with having a custom built computer with some decent speed for a change... As for the Flash Player problem, I can not say that I have the same problem as you. It works perfectly fine when I went to the Xbox site.
