I've been trying to reinstall XP Pro onto an HP 128 mb Celeron bucket. Everytig goes fine until the install is complete and the comp restarts upon which time the @#!* thing freezes. I even tried instaling the XP on a differents comp and exporting the HD but to no avail. Any suggestions?????

THANKS

Is the hard drive clean? Possibly reformat the drive and try again. When you installed it on a different hard drive, did Windows load while that HD was in the other computer?

I've also seen corrupt installations caused by a scratched CD.
