You may need to reinstall System Restore. Here is tutorial on how to do that. smile.gif

OK... Everything worked fine with System Restore. The only thing I have not done is the Recovery Console. All I have is the operating system recovery disc that came with the computer. Is that adequate or do I need to download from Microsoft? Thank you again very much for your help.

Go to Microsoft's website => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994
Select the download that's appropriate for your Operating System.




SP3 users select the download for SP2
