Have recently purchased a Toshiba Qosmio laptop F20-317 and would like to copy some movies I recorded on my SkyBox+ to the laptops harddrive.
Have connected a scart from the Skybvox VCR scart to the video in on my laptop.
Tried to obtain a signal through Media Center setup but without succes.

Hi, and welcome to Geeks To Go!

I'm not sure if the copying of Sky+ movies onto other devices is possible. Take the scart out of the TV port on the Sky+ box, and put the scart from the VCR port onto the TV port, then put it into the laptop. Run media center again, and try again.

If this doesn't work you probably want to look for another program to do this (though I'm pretty sure that port on your laptop is a TV Out).
