What kind of troubles are you having?

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {00000000-DD60-0064-6EC2-6E0100000000} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: PCTools Site Guard - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file)

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\msjava.dll

O23 - Service: Remote Packet Capture Protocol v.0 (experimental) (rpcapd) - Unknown owner - %ProgramFiles%\WinPcap\rpcapd.exe" -d -f "%ProgramFiles%\WinPcap\rpcapd.ini (file missing)

Please delete your temporary files. Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin

Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Reboot and post a new log. :tazz:

It doesn't appear that you have any anti-viral programs running. You need some immediately. There are several free ones - grisoft offers one.

Please download and install and run it.

I want you to also run a virus scan from:

http://www.pandasoft...n_principal.htm

Please use Internet Explorer to download it.

Please post the results of the Panda scan along with a new hijack this log. :tazz:

i use NOD32 anti virus software.

it seems that the dr.watson postmortem debugger problem has been solved as i can now open my video files folder without dr.watson postmortem debugger appearing and freezing my pc BUT i developed a new problem.Whenever i open those same folders containing video files,i can open it for like some seconds then a windows error window appears saying WINDOWS EXPLORER needs to close and then it does what it says and closes by itself with the entire desktop icons refreshing as well then goes back in the desktop but the folder is closed.

what to do??

PANDA activescan results:

Please scan your system with Ad-aware:
