DVD r/RW not working

Nothing worked - ANY HELP?

Try going to Device Manager. Do you see any drivers for your drive there? If you do see one, then uninstall, reboot, and reinstall the driver.

I uninstalled and rebooted and it reinstalled....Still does not work and came up with the same response in the device manager.

Is the drive plugged in firmly? If it is not, then try disconnecting and reconnecting it.

You got me there...Inside the case?

This is Acer bought at best buy in may and never gave me a problem til now.

I wonder if a virus is causing... Spybot is not fixing 'MyWay.MyWebsearch'

Yes, inside the case. Don't attempt it yourself if you're not comfortable with opening your casing.

I'm not sure, but it may be. Try running the steps in the Malware Removal Forum's topic: You Must Read This Before Posting A HijackThis Log. It might help.
