Error Screen Keeps Poping Up.

Since you mention issues with your Norton, the first thing that I'd check would be to see if something has slipped in behind your Norton. Post over in the Malware forums ( http://www.geekstogo...emoval-f37.html ) and if you come up clean post back here and we'll troubleshoot further.

Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.

Ok how do i look up that folder? where do i look?

Open Windows Explorer, and navigate to that folder.

I opened it up and im not seeing that folder.

Check this setting then:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel (Start>Control Panel in Vista).
2. Double-click System.
3. Click (Advanced system settings link in Vista, then --->)the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
4. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).

ok i did all that, now what do i do?

Restart computer.
Now, next time, any BSOD error happens, it'll create new .dmp file in C:\Windows\Minidump folder

When it happens, zip the .dmp file(s), and attach it to your next reply.

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR = bugcheck 0x7a = the requested page of kernel data from the paging file could not be read into memory. The full bugcheck is needed as the 2nd parm (inside the parenthesis) can tell us an I/O status code and may be helpful. The dumps would of course provide this information.

I would remove Norton Internet Security as it causes massive problems in Vista. Can't guarantee that it caused the BSOD, but NIS removal would be at the top of my to-do list anyway.

Download the Norton Removal Tool (NRT); save to desktop. Then go to desktop, RIGHT-click on the NRT icon and select Run as Administrator. When complete - re-boot.

For info on page file and system crash information, download the attached zip file and extract the batch file to your desktop. Go to desktop, RIGHT-click on the batch file icon, select Run as Administrator. A Notepad will open with the results. Paste into your next post.

The best way to deal with computer problems is to try one thing at a time.
First of all, we don't know yet, if the Norton is a problem maker here.
Secondly:

Why?
Thirdly, AVG 8.5 is NOT the best choice to replace Norton with.

IMPORTANT! Make sure, you use only ONE antivirus, and ONE firewall.

I must disagree on the installation of COMODO or any other 3rd party firewall within Vista or Windows 7. These foreign firewalls block local ports causing app crashes and problems within system services. If you do install COMODO or another Internet Security type product, I guarantee that you will be back seeking help with additional BSODs.

Norton Internet Security is always #1 on my hit list when problems occur within Vista because a trial version is installed on many new Vista systems. Kaspersky Internet Security, McAfee, etc... are just as bad.

I've been using Comodo on Win 2K, XP, and Vista for very long time, recommended it for number of years, had no issues whatsoever.
On the other hand, I'm sorry, but promoting Norton, and McAfee sounds rather like a bad joke.
Working on security issues for pretty long time, I've never seen more problems caused by anything else but Norton, and McAfee.
Also, Windows firewall provides only one-way protection, so it has never been full security tool.
