Just recently, my windows search does not work. No error, just nothing. ALso, certain sites no longer load. Such as mcfee support, etc. I ran virus scanners, adware, etc. Comes up clean. I tried to load the windows search engine but I get errors on the install. Any advise... This is driving me crazy.

Initially, my virus and firewall software would not load, that is how I noticed the problem at first. I went through multiple sessions with mcafee support to remove all entries in registry to allow for reinstall. This never worked so I switched to trend product. Not sure how this is related, but happened at same time after I loaded Turbo Tax and It's Deductable. The Its Deductable failed.

System restore did not fix problem.. Same issues came up no matter how far back I went.

I know this sounds like a bunch of unrelated problems, but they all started at the same time.

Thanks for any help.
