The goal was a strait forward reliable build with future upgradability for about $1,300.00.
My newest friend Erik, I met on a car forum that I belong to and he was an incredible help to me. Actually, he did most of the work, but I did learn alot by assisting and waching everything he did. We did the build last weekend and I would call it a success. I'm still learning to navigate Vista and have found some useful sites on line from work. Still have to load some software, then will test my internet connection. I can already tell you that this is a big improvment over my old, old system.
It froze a couple of times on me, but other than that, seems to be working just GREAT!!!!!!
Just as a reminder, this is my component list wich does not include the ASUS nine hundred case.

Hi there,

Looks pretty good - I'm just wondering why it froze? What was happening when it froze? Is there a major problem here, or was it just because of program incompatibilities?

I'm not sure. I really havent had much time to mess with it since the build. I've only had it on two very short times. As long as I was active and doing something on it, it was fine. It's when I stopped for a couple minutes and went back to find that I had no curser movement. For all I know the USB laser mouse I'm useing could be having problems. I will have more time over this weekend to investigate things further. I'll let you know what I come up with. :)
