Sorry it took so long to get back.

I enabled Ewido last night and rebooted several times. No problems at all.

So I left Ewido on and this morning enabled IPv6 Helpter Service in services.msc. When I clicked the Start button under the Service Status, I got the message:
QUOTE
Couldn't start the IPv6 Helper Service on Local Computer. Error 10047: An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

I went ahead and rebooted leaving IPv6 on automatic start. It took a very long time to boot, but I did not get the Generic Host Process Win32 Services error. I went ahead and disabled it again just now.
