Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out). You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this. Lets see if this will finds any hidden Trojan’s http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ This setup contains the free as well as the plus-version of the ewido security suite. After the installation, a free 14-day test version containing all the extensions of the plus-version will be activated. At the end of the test phase, the extensions of the plus version are deactivated and the freeware version can be used unlimited times. The purchased license code of the plus version can be entered at any time. when first run the program will auto-update, Run ewido now Please download, install and run this disk cleanup utility called Cleanup version 4.0! http://downloads.stevengould.org/cleanup/CleanUp40.exe It will get rid of any malware which may be hiding in your temp folders ( a common hiding place). You will also regain a massive amount of disk space. Here is a tutorial which describes its usage: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial93.html Check the custom settings to your liking under options, but be sure to delete temporary files and temporary internet files for all user profiles. MessengerPlus - third party MSN Messenger extension that adds a number of useful features. Bundles the hard to remove C2Media LOP adware; the software does offer you a choice during setup: make sure to install MessengerPlus WITHOUT that "sponsor program"! Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out). HijackThis is being run from a temporary folder; this means that any backups it creates as a result of fixes made with it will be lost. Please create a new folder for it and place the program into that new folder. Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items: O2 - BHO: ZToolbar Activator Class - {da7ff3f8-08be-4cac-bc00-94d91c6ae7f4} - D:\WINDOWS\system32\azesearch3.ocx (file missing) Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis. Read this Demystifying the Windows Registry Most of the following registery entry will have been removed.you may find a number of reg keys for this savenow program but they are harmless and are just left overs. Useless with no program to run. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run Delete the ‘SaveNow’, ‘WhenUSave’, ‘WhenUSearch’ or ‘VVSN’ values. Reboot and you should be able to delete the ‘SaveNow’, ‘Save’, ‘WhenUSearch’, ‘WhenUSearchWHSE’ or ‘VVSN’ folder inside ‘Program Files’. To remove the ActiveX objects installed by the Download and Db variants, open the ‘Downloaded Program Files’ folder inside the Windows folder, and delete the SaveNow object. The name of this is ‘WhenUDownload’ in the Download variant, ‘FC327B3F-377B-4CB7-8B61-27CD69816BC3’ in the Db variant, and ‘E2F2B9D0-96B9-4B25-B90C-636ECB207D18’ in the WUInst variant.
