Hey everyone.
i have a problem with my macbook and i'm in desperate need of a bit of help. I have wireless internet at my house and bought my macbook 6 months ago. Everything was working fine and i love my laptop. Then, about a week ago, i flipped open my laptop as always, turned it one and to my dismay, the internet didnt automatically connect like it always does. so i turned off the airport and turned it back on, nothing. i tried retyping in the password for the connection, nothing. My roommate had her laptop (a pc) going and it works just fine for her. I now need to use her computer which is an inconvience at times If anyone could help, PLEASE DO!! I'd appreciate the advice -Chase |

I have had the same issue. My research on the issue only came up with the mac's wireless client is a bit buggy and there is no fix to it. The last time I had the issue was actually last night and I tried restarted my macbook and it still wouldn't connect for more than a few seconds, then disconnected. I restarted my modem and router and the issue was gone. There are two Windows PC in my house as well and their internet was working fine the whole time.
I'd be happy to know if there is a better fix. It doesn't happen to me too often though. |
