I keep getting pop-ups from Winfixer... I have downloaded and run CWShredder, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware SE personal, McAffee virus, and Microsoft AntiSpyware. Nothing seems to get rid of this.... I have just run a HiJack This scan, here are the results. Please let me know what to do next...

Hi diva,
1)While TeaTimer is an excellent tool for the prevention of spyware, it can sometimes prevent HijackThis from fixing certain things. Please disable TeaTimer for now until you are clean. TeaTimer can be re-activated once your HijackThis log is clean.
2)We need to disable your Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make. Open Microsoft AntiSpyware. Click on Options, Settings. In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection. Under Startup Options uncheck Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended). Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended). After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware. Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware. Please print these instructions out for use in Safe Mode. Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
QUOTE Please type in the second filepath as instructed by the forum staff then press enter:
O2 - BHO: ATLDistrib Object - {93C6313C-9DB4-4694-8BD0-E378C573A9AD} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\tusrr.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file) O20 - Winlogon Notify: tusrr - C:\WINDOWS\system32\tusrr.dll O23 - Service: CWShredder Service - Unknown owner - C:\Documents and Settings\Brandee Ball\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\0LUTUD6F\cwshredder[1].exe (file missing) Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu). Set the program up as follows: Click "Options..." Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!" Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program. It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO. Then, please run this online virus scan: ActiveScan Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HiJackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic. |

Thank you so much for helping me out. Now, it seems that I have a minor problem which I haven't had before... When I try starting my computer in Safe Mode it just shows a black screen with four "safe mode" points around it. THis is after I log in as either myself or the administrator... It is very frustrating.

Ok then, you can do the fix in normal mode. Just don't forget to disable both Teatimer and Microsoft Antispyware before the fix.
