New Member Posts: 8 OS: Vista	A couple days ago I for some reason decided to download a program for a windows dvd player through Limewire (I know, not so smart) and I ended up downloading a trojan or spyware or something. I use both AVG and Windows Defender. AVG detected some harmful files and 'healed' them, but I kept getting messages from Windows Defender that I had harmful files. Most of these files were .dll files and I ended up manually deleting them. I thought all was well because I did a system scan with Windows Defender and it said my computer was fine. But, the next time that I rebooted my computer I had 4 seperate Run.dll errors saying that it couldn't find the files that I had deleted the day before. A while after that, I started getting more messages from AVG about harmful files that kept on appearing at random. So I came to this site and did all the things that were suggested. Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) from HERE or HERE and save it to your Desktop. Close all other windows before proceeding. Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts. Please let your firewall allow the scanning/downloading process. When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply. If you are using Vista, you need to right-click at dss.exe icon and choose Run as Administrator Regards fenzodahl512

It has been replaced with AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0 Please uninstall AVG7 and replace it with AVG8.. Please also uninstall Viewpoint Media Player from your computer.. Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer. Save it to your desktop. Please double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it. (Vista users, please right click on OTMoveit2.exe and select "Run as an Administrator") Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy): CODE [kill explorer] C:\Windows\system32\olixds18 C:\Program Files\Viewpoint C:\Users\NAGHMEH\AppData\Local\Temp\rnejkaet.dll HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\\7043469c EmptyTemp purity [start explorer] Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the light Yellow bar) and choose Paste.
