Like many others on this forum, I have the problem of Vista "protecting" me from myself and it won't allow me to copy files to my C drive. I ran the cmd prompt suggestion and entered the suggested command to netuser admin yes command but that set up a separate admin account - I need MY identity to have full access. We e-mail files to each other all day long, and I need to be able to save the file to the program data file so I can run it - I can't be changing identities every time I need to save a file. How can I change my existing identity so that I have the full admin access I had in good ol' XP?
