When i first looked online for RAM on my computer i saw RAM that said it was High Density. I figured this was just a marketing thing, and not really any diffrent from regular RAM. Although when i reserched it online it is diffrent. From what i understand, it will cram more data through a specific path. The RAM is usually a generic brand but what confused me is i don't know if my motherboard can handle it.
Is there a way i can find out ? I have looked on my user manual from ABIT and it said nothing about it but how i can only put so much RAM in each slot, 1GB/slot. My motherboard is a ABIT NF-7 S v2.0 |

Hi. You can go to www.crucial.com and use their memory advisory tool. It will display compatible RAM for your motherboard.

Crucial has high density ? The only big name brand that i know of that has high density ram is Kingston. WHich i really don't need. I don't need any fancy RAM and if i could get it cheap it would be nice

Crucials memory compatibilty tool will tell you what you can put in your system you dont have to actaully buy it from them, i wouldnt get generic but the value ranges from the big names are just as cheap and you get the advantage of guaranteed quality.
