Well im new here and yes i dont know didly squat about computers or internet thingys,
all i want to know is how do i play ps3 online and use the internet on a different computer.

I have got the ps3 up and running online(bloody brill),now the missus(wife) is moaning that she cant go on that stupid face[bleep] website sorry i meen facebook.

I have got 1 modem thingy with flashing lights on it,in the wall i have got a socket with two wires coming out,1 going to the modem and the other going to the sky box,out of the modem is the wire i use for the ps3,every time the missus(wife) wants to use the internet i have to pull the wire out of the ps3 and plug it to the laptop(real pain in the arse).

Can i buy a adapter or something so i dont have to keep doing this?

Any help would gratefully be apreciated.

What you need is a networking device. I recommend this router: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16833124010. It also includes wireless. The price difference between a Wired and wired + wireless router is low enough to where there is not much of a point in getting a wired only router.

Basically, you will have the cable that goes to either your PS3 or computer go to the router. Then you will have two more cables. One will go to the computer and the other to the PS3. The router only comes with one cable so you will need to purchase and additional one.

Good luck.
