Unfortunately, my camera has gıven me an error and formatted the SD card on it. I have lost all the taken photos... Can anyone recommend a software so that I can recover all my pics and videos... They are all important and crucial for me... I have only taken 2 or 3 pictures on it after formatting itself. I hope that I can recover them... I am looking forward to get your suggestions....Thanks... Have a nice day... smile.gif

I don't know if any of these programs will work or not as I never used them. Some may require you purchase before it will actually do a recovery after finding the photos (if recoverable):

Card Recovery 3.50
Digital Photo Recovery™ 2.0.3

Other Sources

MediaRECOVER is also not free, but the demo may show you whethet any files are recoverable.

RiteRecovery ?
CardRecovery™ ?

Hi Major Payne,

Thanks for your reply.... Actually I have tried some of the programs you have mentioned. They all scan the SD card and found most of the file but whenever I click on recover now button, it says me that I need to purchase the program.... I hope that I can find a free one... Let me try the other programs... If you can find any other programs , pls let me know... Take care...

Hi again,

I am working on these programs.. Up to now, I have recovered most of the pictures, about 80 %. but some are missing. I am glad that I got my pictures back ... I can say that Card Recovery 3.50 is a good one... I have recovered even my videos with this. I will be back with additional feedback soon.. Take care...

After all trying recovery programs, I have recovered most of the photos. I can say that Recuva is the greatest one in recovering the files. In addition it is free. I would recommend Recuva for those need recovery software.. Best wishes.... wink.gif

I accidently formatted my pictures on my Sd card, and now I lost all of my pictures, the only thing is that I have downloaded and tried so many recover programs, and they only recover pictures that I have never taken with my camera! Help me please! The pictures that were on there mean so much to me and my husband. I am really upset over this. So any advice could help.
