How to remove Generic Rootkit.a or .d trojan

OS: XP



McAfee on my desktop detected the following 2 trojans..
ksys.sys Generic Rootkit.d
ip6fw.sys Generic Rootkit.a

McAfee abled to removw it, but they are there again after reboot & rescan..
Pls advise how to remove them permanently..
