Assuming your running XP I would suggest the XP forum

SEPT. 2, trojan.W32.Looksky fix you offers works, BUT, after I turn off my pc, and return, my home page has been invaded by ULTIMATE DEFENDER.

pepsi.gif DRIVIN' ME 2 DRINK'N I SWEAR pepsi.gif

I use to use DEFENDER 5-1 ($20 April 2007), after I had a pc repairman fix my pc, it wouldn't load right, I requested & requested & requested for help, I got instructions that made NO SENCE to me. Thinking maybe if I had fresh passwords/login (Item good for a yr., only 4mo. old), so I went to W-M and upgraded ($40), and won't do anything but, still was fighting virus.

3 nights ago, flaustered & tired, found noadware.net, went through ANOTHER download, and thought it sounded good, but was really looking for one of these $40 promises that would have an 800#. Still the problem lived, I emailed, waited 24hrs. got link to scan with diagnostic report, a day later, NOTHING. Wish they'd just send me my $ back, I'm tapped, I've used $ that wasn't in the budget, I can't afford no more fixes this week.

Finally, found this site, it's gotten rid of 99% of the problem, after I turn the pc off, I turn it on and there is "ULTIMATE DEFENDE" informing me that if I have and problems, they for $40 can offer the fix I need.

HOW DO I GET RID OF THE INVADED HOMEPAGE?

Days & days of problems, all really is MUCH better, thanks to you, but I still have fears on what to put on my pc to protect it.

I have websites, I need to update: our house, www.oklahomarealestates.us & www.casinofunforfree.com

Appreciate you all, any help, advise, please email me; TY

Hey everyone!
I too came across this little website by running a search on how to remove the Looksky Trojan.
I have to say:
I am nothing short of impressed!
I know a thing or two about Computers & as my name hints:
I am not a D/U (dumb user)
just a bit rusty.
One big heartfelt Thank you for the great instructions & also for posting everything that one needs to get rid of it!
You guys have truly done a fantastic job & since I am building 2 new to us environments I am certain you'll hear from me plenty in the next few days wink.gif
Ones more:
Thanks!
Bella-Trix
