How to stop the net from disconnecting (on a laptop), Internet keeps disconnecting once computer goes into sleep mode

At night, Id like to keep the laptop on with the monitor closed but when I do that and come back, it has killed the wireless connection and then has to reconnect. How do I stop that from doing it again?

You'll have to adjust the Power Settings in Control Panel to stop it from shutting off.
Also, you may have to set some of the Properties of the device in Device Manager.
