I was infected with this virus last night. I keep getting these pop-ups in IE that tell me I've been infected and then I am redirected to the IEDefender.com homepage. I have ran AVG Anti-Virus, Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, Spybot S&D, Avast! Anti-Virus, Microsoft Defender, and my system comes up squeaky clean every time. I'm at wits end. I've tried searching for bDivX.dll and IR9V0_QCX.dll, two files supposedly associated with the virus, but my results came up clean. I've poked around in the registry, but I'm not comforatble making any changes yet. There is a free "removeIEDefender.exe" application that supposedly fixes the problem, but it isn't compatible with Windows Vista yet. I have posted a few additional questions below the LOG as well. Someone please help!

***In addition to getting rid of IE Defender I was wondering: 1.) Since I don't use Office Groove, is it ok to delete All/Some of it off my list? 2) Lines 08-09 contain buttons for Onenote and Groove, is it safe to get rid of? (do these appear upon right-click) 3)I no longer use O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [FreeRAM XP], nor O23 - Service: Ad-Aware 2007 Service can I delete them too?

*** I didn't mention this before because I was embaressed , but the minute after installed this codec: http://c-hunt.com/view.php?vid=Georgia_Horsley_sexy, my computer started screwing up. I know for a FACT that this is how the virus got in.
