Hi,

On my machine I installed XP with SP3, Installed the drivers, then some security software - OnlineArmour, Avira, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster, SuperAntySpyware - then did Windows Update (there were 51 updates, including IE 8), rebooted, and ever since then, neither IE nor Windows Updates (which probably depends on IE) would start. I watched it in Process Explorer: the process would appear for some time, then go away, displaying no window.

Any idea what could have caused it?

Thanks,
SOADA
