Need more information. What do you mean when you say "My computer icons and especially Internet Explorer takes forever to load"?

Are you saying it takes a long tine for the icons to appear on the desktop or it takes a long time when you double click on an icon before the program starts?

What are your computer specs?
How much memory?
How much free space is there on the hard drive?
Have you cleaned out Temporary Internet Files?
Has it always been this way or is it a recent occurrence?
If recent, have you made any changes, like adding or removing hardware of software?
Have you had a virus on the computer that you removed?
