Got this response from my previous post* regarding connecting my laptop (Visa) using my Verizon broadband card and my son's laptop running Windows 7:

* http://www.geekstogo...-7-t271395.html

"Remote connection needs to be allowed by your Firewall first and then specifically allow his connection to view your system"

I need specific instructions on how to adjust firewall settings on the 2 laptops please and asummiong the two will be connected with an ethernet cables.

PS-unknown if "How-To-Guides & Tutorials" dated 1/15/'06 Internet connection sharing-Win XP, ICS for WinXP pertains to my situation?
