Although my initial problem isn't quite resolved yet (we are working on it), I just wanted to give a shout out and huge thanks to EssexBoy for all of the hard work he has done for me so far. As of now I believe I am more secure than I ever have been. I'm glad that such a forum exists where us "everyday joes" can come and get expert advice!
