Keyhole DRM error

Hi, I have a laptop running Vista and a desktop running XP. We downloaded a game called Go Diego Go from the Nick Studios website. All the games we've gotten from here
have worked fine on XP, but when we try them on Vista we get the Keyhole DRM error. I've reinstalled Direct X (Ver 10) but still get the error. I can run Halo so I'm pretty sure its not the video card. I was told (by Nick Studios) to try running it in compatibility mode but I keep getting the same error. I have a Toshiba laptop:
*Satellite L335-S7812, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5550,
*3072 MB PC5300 DDR SDRAM
*200GB (4200 RPM) HDD
*802.11a/b/g wireless
Hope that was the specs you wanted. Also, I read on another post that "registry cleaners can damage your registry beyond repair". Please tell me there's a way to reverse the process. It might be contributing in the slowing of my computer or not, but I would like to know.

uninstall shockwave from control panel / programs.

Download and run the uninstaller http://download.shoc...uninstaller.exe.

Reboot and reinstall shockwave from shockwave.com.

I would also recommend that you updated your direct x.

:) The problem is still there. Shockwave un / re-installed, Direct X is up to date. At least they ( Nick programs ) work on the xp machine, but I would like have it run on Vista. Anything else that'll help ?

unfortunately there are not any very good solutions. What I recommended was the most common solution for the problem your experiencing. It appears to be an issue with how the drm (digital rights managment) works and the permissions is requires. In my opinion it has to do with the increased security with IE and Vista. The only suggestion that I have found that works for sure is to use Firefox
