I'm really not sure whats going on. I accidentally downloaded this program called "Gold Codec" and since then I have been getting these popups in the lower right hand corner next to where the time is saying I have critical system errors or another one will pop up and say trogan found. I went to add remove programs and removed the "Gold Codec" program however when i go to program files the folder is still there when I try to delete the folder it says I can't because other programs are using some of the things in that program so I then go into the task manager and end the processes of what files are being used from the "Gold Codec" folder but they go away and keep opening back up in the task manager. I'm really not sure whats going on I would really appreciate any help thats offered. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add that the files that keep opening up in the Task manager are "isamini.exe and isamonitor.ext and isaddon.dll" there the same files that are in the Gold Codec Folder. Thank You

Did the uninstall process finish successfully? And did you already scan for viruses? And have you tried unlocker? By the way isammini.exe is a Trojan so run an AV scan now.

You could use the "Unlocker" program to get rid of the folder and files in it. You may have to use a cleaner to get rid of the entries to the files in the registry.

Unlocker

The registry cleaner i use

So is isamonitor.exe and isaddon.ddl, both are trojans.

The trojan is: Trojan.Zlob.Media-Codec

Go to the malware forum and post a HJT log there, they'll help you get rid of this junk.

P.S. the malware forum is a busy place, a 3day wait is common, do not bump your post, be patient
