I've recently moved to China to work for 6 months, and have attempted to play some cute MMORPG such as MapleStory and Fiesta while my injured leg is in a cast.

The problem is of course China has their own versions and servers for these games and won't allow connection to international versions.

I've read one line from somewhere that I can adjust SOCKS proxy to alleviate this problem. Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing it?

As I've got alot of time on my hands, any help that will allow me to get back to levelling by smashing snails will be much appreciated! smile.gif

well............. Your in china. They do a number of things for filtering and blocking. There isn't much that I can recommend. You don't really want to get caught violating their laws.
