Interesting config information,

I definately set this up after reading this post, Thank you very much for this information by the way! :-)

I haven't noticed much of a change just yet, but I'll keep a look out if I notice it loading faster.

The reason I haven't noticed it yet though is because I'm already on a very fast connection, Comcast High Speed Internet Cable.

I tried this configuration, and I have seen a slight improvement.
I'm using Yahoo Rogers High Speed Interent capable (10 mpbs).

What I was suprised to see is that, it rendered the images faster for me.
Thanks for the tip.

OK, I'm an idiot and when I added the Integer "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" I left the " in the name. How do I remove them or does it matter if they are there?

1. Show Hidden Files

2. Navigate to this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\??????.default

3. Open this file using Notepad: prefs.js

4. Perform edits/deletions then close and save file.

5. Exit Explorer

6. Restart Firefox

7. Enter pref that you really want.

First words outta my mouth after I tried this ... "holy crap"

I wasnt sure if i liked firefox. I herd alot of great things about it, however it didnt seem to load as fast as my other browser.

I saw this post and thought id give it a try. I went to a website which normaly takes my computer a little longer to load than the average site. it took around 5 to 7 seconds to load.

After I made the changes, it took around 1 maybe 2 seconds to load.

smile.gif thanks for your post. It really seemed to make a difference.
