First off I'm running Windows XP.
Secondly here's where I went wrong. I bought a restored computer about a year ago. I'm an artist/comic book writer by trade, and writing scripts is very important to me making a living. Well stupid Microsoft Word 2003 expired on me. The program already came installed and I had no clue it would expire. So I tried to get the full version. It says I need a serial number. Well thats where my problems started. I thought I was downloading the serial, so I could use it so I could access my scripts.
Instead I got some malicious software.
Thus far I know I've got something called malware, as well as outerinfo, something called pandascan or something like that, plus probably a ton of other things I don't even know about yet.
I knew as soon as I saw the little malware removal icon in the toolbar at the bottom, that I screwed up.
Well like the complete moron that I am, I attempted to remove the program via their removal system.
Then i rebooted and it made things a thousand times worse.
Now I can barely access this site with my computer, half the time, my computer wont even run (as in none of my desktop icons will even show up), I've tried going into my control panel and removing the programs I know are malicious and 99% of the time it won't allow me to.
man i am so screwed. Can someone please help me. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
