The way I deleted the files was I launched the task manager and right clicked on the MediaAccess.exe process and selected "End Process Tree." I then was able to delete the Media Access folder.

If you havent already done so, go get hijack this and run it....check the box next to MediaAcck.exe. That at least gets rid of the .exe and as far as I'm concerned the Media Access folder that it was in can stay, least it's empty now lol
Not going to all the trouble of formatting just for an empty folder! |

I finally got rid of it.....I think...
I ran hi jack, checked the box associated with the file, choose fix it then rebooted the machine. Then I was able to get to my user profile and I went to the Task Mgr and ended the processing tree where ever I saw it listed. So far it has not come back and I am able to access all of my files. Thanks, Theresa |

Also Teresa, run another hijack this session and post the log here, that way myself or someone a lil smarter can check to make sure it's completely gone!
