Just wanted to get some opinions from the more knowledgeable crowd...should I download the Microsoft Windows Antispyware (Beta) for my home computer?

Anyone using it here?

Pros or Cons?

Thanks,
Garfluver

The Microsoft Anti-Spyware program is quite good. Mainly cause it wasn't designed by them. Its made by a company called Giant software which Microsoft recently purchased.

Anyway it does work. Will pick up and remove most things and will stop some spyware from being able to access your system to begin with.

As far as removal it doesn't quite beat Lavasoft Ad-aware SE Personal Edition but its close.

You're right it does work and a whole lot better than Lavasoft. After posting numerous times on this board, I didn't get any response so I just gave up. I downloaded MS Anti-Spyware. It got rid of urllogic, umonitor, istsvc, etc. No more popups for me.
