Monitor says no signal

I have just recently built my first computer.

The specs are:

Mobo and CPU: http://www.tigerdire...e...&CatId=2430

PSU: http://www.tigerdire...e...&CatId=1483

Video Card: http://www.tigerdire...e...&CatId=1380

RAM: http://www.tigerdire...p;Sku=O261-8070

Case: http://www.tigerdire...p;Sku=A107-1058

My problem is that everything seems to run fine, LED's come on, fans turn on, DVD player and Hard drive spin up. The only problem I have is that there is no signal on the monitor. All I get is a yellow light. I have tried other RAM and another video card. I took the motherboard out of the case and tried that. Still no luck. Does anyone have any ideas what so ever?

Hi there bimbo36!

If your RAM and graphics card work fine in another computer, then I would guess the motherboard is faulty.

Just to be sure, was the memory installed in pairs, also in the correct memory slots?

If you remove the memory from the system, and boot, does it give any beep codes?

Also just to be sure, the power connector for the video card has been connected as well?

Let's check the obvious first, guys. Is the monitor properly and securely connected to to video card? Does the monitor work with a different computer? Does the graphics card work with a different monitor?
