If what I'm about to ask can happen then my posting this question is really stupid!!!!! BTW I'm on Satellite internet. Here it goes: Can someone without my knowing be an administrator and let me think that I am? I'm paranoid and suspect that my system has been compromised. I believe that someone is intercepting my browsing info and e-mail. Even answering my e-mail. Letting me believe everything is normal. Is this possible? If so, how can I tell or better yet report it? Maybe...........I should just see a physciatrist. I do have a sense of humor but question is serious. Thanx in advance, gsygsy This post has been edited by gsygsy: May 7 2008, 01:19 PM |

gsygsy,
I don't want to scare you, but it is possible for people to gain access to your PC and be able to track what you are doing or typing. If you are truly worried, then I would suggest you follow the steps here, and even if nothing is found, you can post a hijackthis log and have it reviewed by one of our malware staff members. They can also give advice on how best to protect your PC from all manner of malware, even if you are clean. You've come to the right place, and there's nothing stupid about your question at all. Good luck, sari |
