Hi all, just wondering about my new laptop i recently purchased with vista. I notice that i've got like almost 70 sometimes 80 processes running. Is that normal for vista? I've never used this OS before so i was curious.

Hi dookie270...

70 to 80 processes is not unusual with Vista. There are some that can be trimmed away, but Vista really handles them well. Unless they are causing problems there is nothing to worry about.

Thanks wannabe. Yeah i've trimmed some of the excess and uneccessary programs dell installed with the laptop but if vista can handle 70-80 processes then i guess its fine.
