Hi. All of a sudden this morning, outlook express has dissapeared from my computer. I can still log into my email account from the centurytel.net website, however, I have lost all my old, saved, sent, etc emails as well as my contacts. It seems that Microsoft outook has taken it's place. I have my computer set to receive automatic updates, could that be the reason? Please help me get outlook express back on my computer so that I can have access to all of my old stuff!

In 'My Computer' navigate to this folder: C:\Program Files\Outlook Express

In there should be a file called MSIMN.EXE (envelope icon wrapped in blue arrows). It's the launch file for Outlook Express.

Double-click that file and Outlook Express should open.

If it asks you if you want it to be the default mail client, click 'Yes'.

Create a shortcut for that file on your desktop if one does not already exist, and rename it to 'Outlook Express'

I followed your directions, however, I don't have a file with that name. Do you want me to post what files I do have? Thanks for your help.
