Hey everyone!
This probably has been explained a thousand times or so on the forum but I'd prefer to get a direct response than read info given to another member so bare with me. I have my PS3 set up for online gaming, and have no issues with that, I do however have issues in regards to setting up a Clan and to host etc, mainly with COD4 & 5. I've been advised I need to open up the ports on my Belkin router. - I've entered 192.168.2.1 into my URL browser and brought up the set up page. - I've gone onto 'Virtual Servers' under firewall as I've been previously advised and it brings up 20 columns (all the same but for diff things im supposing) for example below ; Enable - (Tickbox) Description - Inbound port - Type -TCP, UDP or TCP&UDP Private IP address - 192.168.2.___ Private port - This is where I apparently need to input my information, but I'm unsure on what I put in there. I have the IP Address showing on the PS3 Network settings etc so I'm presuming this goes into 'Private IP Address'? What goes into the 'Inbound Port' box and the 'Private port' box? Just need some advice on which details I input and where I find them. If my information is incorrect please just let me know and send me in the right direction. Thanks in advance! I'll be awaiting your replies anxiously Sully-7- This post has been edited by Sully-7-: May 9 2009, 06:01 PM |
