I have set up Parental control on Norton, however my daughter is able to switch it off. She has a child account, with no access to change anything within NIS, I have password protected everything. When questioned all I get is there is an internet site that tells you how to do it. Can anyone advise me how to stop her doing this.

hello and welcome to geekstogo,
firstly lets double check that she hasn't changed her account, to do so please do the following,
start->control panel-> user accounts
be sure that she only has a limited account, if she has an administative account this should be changed, then she'll have no way of accessing or changing anything in norton.
also what browsers do you have installed on your system (ig. internet explorer, firefox, opera, ect.)
thanx
James

James

I only have IE, and she only has limited account access. All I know is that something is going around the schools, where the kids have found out a way of doing this, but it beats me.
