Today is my birthday and with the money I had saved up to build a computer, my tax return and the money I reveived from relatives, I was able to buy parts for a computer with these components:

All items have been ordered and shipped so as soon as I get them, I'll be building the computer with the help of my friends who work at a local computer store that regularly hosts LAN Parties. Go me!

I have been saving up my money to buy a gaming PC. I have got £800 and want a PC that will play: BF4, BO2, TF2, Borderlands 2, Rome 2 total war and Minecraft there may be a few more but I don't want to list them all.

However as I am not an expert in this field I am after some advice:

1)Is it more than I need to run these games?

2)Is it not good enough?

3)Will it actually play all the games I want it to?

4)Will it work?

5)In a few tears time will i be able to upgrade it all?

You would have been better off starting a new topic on the system building/upgrading forum but nvm.

Not a bad list of parts but I would suggest a better video card such as the GTX 760, an alternative list of parts if you fancy building your own, see Here

Thanks phillpower2 but I am not confident enough to build my own yet as the cpu is very delicate and hard to put in.

So if I upgrade the graphics card will it run all the games?

That's awesome! A real gamer knows how to save money and can adjust game settings according to the system they have. When you get that PSU you can easily upgrade to something like a GTX 960 or even GTX 750TI and turn the setting to high @ 1920x1080.
