We have been asking for everyone's system specs as they are required for us to assist the users of this site. It aides in problem identification and reduces the time it takes us to answer your questions.

The prefered method and format is to use SysSpec by alex nolan:
http://www.alexnolan...are/sysspec.htm
the instructions on how to us the software are provide in the link with the download for it listed at the very end.

PLEASE NOTE: Help us to help you! Use meaningful titles and descriptions, NOT just "help me".
Describe your issues fully. List any issues and relevant error messages. Detailed posts get better (and faster) replies.

thanks,
Starjax

Today is my birthday and with the money I had saved up to build a computer, my tax return and the money I reveived from relatives, I was able to buy parts for a computer with these components:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz
Power Supply: 1000 Watt Multi-GPU Power Supply
Graphics Processor: Dual 1GB nVidia GeForce 9800 GX2
Memory: 4GB Patriot EP+ Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM
Motherboard: nVidia nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard
Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate
Hard Drive: 250GB SATA 3Gb/s 7,200RPM 16MB Cache
Optical Drives: 4x Dual Layer Blu-ray Burner

All items have been ordered and shipped so as soon as I get them, I'll be building the computer with the help of my friends who work at a local computer store that regularly hosts LAN Parties. Go me! :)

P.S. I'd better not mess this up because I'd rather not have my $3,200 computer go to crap.

Hi There,

I have been saving up my money to buy a gaming PC. I have got £800 and want a PC that will play: BF4, BO2, TF2, Borderlands 2, Rome 2 total war and Minecraft there may be a few more but I don't want to list them all.

I have been looking on a website called SCAN (http://3xs.scan.co.u...erCategoryID=49). At the gaming PC's and Systems section. and have found one that is slightly over my price range but it will be fine.

This is the Final Spec from the website---

However as I am not an expert in this field I am after some advice:

1)Is it more than I need to run these games?

2)Is it not good enough?

3)Will it actually play all the games I want it to?

4)Will it work?

5)In a few tears time will i be able to upgrade it all?

Thanks :-)

:welcome: wi1199uk1

You would have been better off starting a new topic on the system building/upgrading forum but nvm.

Not a bad list of parts but I would suggest a better video card such as the GTX 760, an alternative list of parts if you fancy building your own, see Here

Thanks phillpower2 but I am not confident enough to build my own yet as the cpu is very delicate and hard to put in.

So if I upgrade the graphics card will it run all the games?

That's awesome! A real gamer knows how to save money and can adjust game settings according to the system they have. When you get that PSU you can easily upgrade to something like a GTX 960 or even GTX 750TI and turn the setting to high @ 1920x1080.
