This is pretty hard to explain now I've screwed things up a little (Microsofts Fault).

Finally just found the error. Straight to the point.

Just brought Vista Ultimate and put it in my DVD-Rom. Kept spinning, stopping, spinning, stopping, etc. Then I attempted to open the D: although no disk was recognised and it had a notepad file stating README. I did as it said, and it came up with this error message:

'This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system
that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.'

I assumed that my DVD-Rom was out of date, however, no updates have been found. Looked on the Microsoft website and they had a Hotfix thing for DVD-Roms and tried that. Linked to: Microsoft Hotfix

So now I'm screwed. Now it won't even show the README file. Done all it says. And nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Since you told us nothing of your hardware, if brand new or 10 years old, and if old, if working before, we really have nothing to go on. Did you ensure your hardware was Vista compatible first, using Vista Upgrade Advisor?

Profiles don't mean anything. I have 6 computers in this house, all are different. Please post requested information for this computer in this thread.
