Welcome to G2Go.  ================ Please download FixWareout from here: http://downloads.subratam.org/Fixwareout.exe Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. If your firewall gives an alert, (because this tool will download an additional file from the internet), please don't let your firewall block it, but allow it instead. Then you will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal. Once the desktop loads please post the text that will open (report.txt) and a new Hijackthis log |

You can do this by restarting your computer and continually tapping the F8 key until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight SafeMode then hit enter. Then run Superantispyware.
2. After reboot, double-click the SUPERAntispyware icon on your desktop. 3. Click Preferences. Click the Statistics/Logs tab. 4. Under Scanner Logs, double-click SUPERAntiSpyware Scan Log. 5. It will open in your default text editor (such as Notepad/Wordpad). 6. Please highlight everything in the notepad, then right-click and choose copy. 7. Click close and close again to exit the program. Save the log information. If needed (still infected) paste this info along with your HijackThis log. ========================================================= After that please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan

The reason for the slow startup could be because of the multiple programs you have running.

I'm very greatful for your help my comp seems to be getting better each time o do the things you say, i checked the 3 entries to remove in hijack this hopefully they will have all gone this time, also delted the C:\fixwareout. when i tried doing the next part i got these two messages after saving notepad instructions:- Are you sure you want to add the information in c:\documents and settings\kevin\desktop\fixthis.reg to the registry yes or no. i clicked yes then got the following message :- cannot import c:\documents and settings\kevin\desktop\fixthis.reg The specified file is not a registry script. you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor. Followed your instructions and this time got a message saying :- windows cannot open this file to open this file, windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically or you can manually check from a list of programs on your computer. what do you want to do ? use the web service to find the approprate programme select the programme from list What option should i do ? The reg file is now correct the first time was a capitalization error. Delete both fix this reg's. After that let's try it again. Please open up Notepad and copy all of the items in the code box below. Change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as fixthis.reg on your Desktop. CODE Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-hkey_classes_root\clsid\{9AFB8248-617F-460d-9366-D71CDEDA3179}] Now double-click fixthis.reg. A window will come up asking if you want to let it merge with the registry. Click yes. Reboot for the changes to take place and let me know how it goes. It should look like the picture below. Please open up Notepad and copy all of the items in the code box below. Change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as fixagain.reg on your Desktop. CODE Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search] SearchAssistant=- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search] CustomizeSearch=- [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045}] [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045}] [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045}] Now double-click fixagain.reg. A window will come up asking if you want to let it merge with the registry. Click yes. Reboot for the changes to take place and let me know how it goes. Please also post a fresh Hijackthis log.
