Working on a friends computer and the computer has slowed down a fair bit over the last little bit. I have completed the Do this first section and the following spyware is still visible on the machine:

There is also the Good old Red button with white X (in the task bar) telling that Windows has detected spyware every 30 seconds or so. Pretty sure ewido took care of this one.


Ad-aware found no infections.
Spybot found a bunch and removed them.
