:whistling: Yesterday I updated Spybot, then ititiated a scan that took several hours to complete. When the scan finally finished, Spybot didn't report any problems. I immediately initiated another scan, and the same thing happened- it began to chug along verrrrry slowly. So I cancelled that scan.

I've used Spybot for several years, and it always scans in 10 minutes or so, so this is a sudden change.

Can anyone tell me if this is of concern? My anti-virus (CA) hasn't picked up anything. I ran trend Micro Housecall and it also came back clean.

If this issue with Spybot doen't indicate potential malware on my machine, I'd still like to figure out how to get Spybot working well again.

Thanks.

:whistling: Sorry, folks. I didn't see that my initial post from yesterday (into the Malware forum) had been moved here. Didn't mean to re-post.

Still hoping someone has advice for me.

Thanks
