Anyone,

I have an infected computer. No matter what I try, everytime I reboot my machine I have 2 icons on my desktop that say:

BDSM Galleries
Unsensored porn

I can dump the shortcuts into my trash, but they reappear withing 3 minutes.

More importantly I think I have bigger issues then the porn shortcuts. Every 10 minutes or so the triangular Windows Security Alert icon in my system tray pops up and says I have an infected computer. When I click the link it starts to go to a webpage called XPantivirus, and I close the page immediately.

Every so often, I also get a popup message that says:

WINDOWS ALERT:Critical Systems Warning!
Your system is probably infected with version of Spyware.IEMonster.b Spyware.IEMonster.b is spyware that attempts to steal passwords from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox Outlook and other programs, including logings and passwords from online baking sessions,EBay, PayPal. It may also create special tracking files to log your activity and compromise your Internet privacy. Spyware.IEMonster then sends stolen passwords and other sensitive information to a php script at a pre specified website where stolen details are logged Click here to protect your computer (recommended) ok or cancel.

I've tried using HijackThis and I can't figure out what to remove, and I suspect that I may need to dig deeper than HijackThis to fix this problem. There was a similar entry on this site that I tried to use to help me, and it suggested installing and running WinPFind35, which I did. But the fix the user posted was specific to his machine. I don't want to run any programs to fix this that were created specifically for someone else's machine. I've attached a txt file with my WinPFind35 results which may assist in eliminating this garbage from my machine.

PLEASE HELP!!

Hello GOATball

Welcome to G2Go. :)
=====================
Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
