Hi guys,

I am new in this forum. I am trying to get rid of these and other "wonders":
=> "Win32:Trojan-gen. {UPX!}" has been found in "C:\Program Files\DNS\gui.exe" file.
=> "Win32:Trojan-gen. {UPX!}" has been found in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\system32.dll\gui.exe"
=> HKU\S-1-5-21-1715567821-789336058-1060284298-500\Software\DNS -> Adware.Shorty

I keep deleting them with ewido and avast, but they keep on reappearing. I am running out of patience and ideas (then again I am no expert and do not have many of these- so far I have tried most of the freely available adware and spyware programs with no better success than the detection of the problem).

I have seen that you are using the Log generated by Hijackthis to address similar problems. Well here is mine:
