HELP!!!!!

I have tried everything I know to get rid of the pop-ups saying: System Alert: Trojan-Spy.Win21@mx. It says that it is a spyware program that sends confidential information to a remote attacker and to click on the baloon to download official security software. My McAfee program tells me that this is not a good program. OK, so I run my McAfee Scans of which I have everything covered (I think) and it tells me that I have no infections.

I talked to a computer friend of mine who told me to get Ad-Aware 2007, which I did. I have run both programs and still I am repeatedly getting the blasted advertisements for everything under the sun. They are continuous and right in the middle of a program all of a sudden my screen goes back to the desktop because there has been another advertisement to come is.

I am at my wits end. I am not a professional by any means and am what I consider to be computer dumb as far as I am concerned so please help me.

Thanks ,
Nanmarie
